Reason #314 why you should drive a 2-seater roadster: you get your exclusive parking spots.

Counterpoint, my car has four seats and is still smaller than yours!
But you do get nice spots.

Gee, a Camry that pulled through to park. What are the odds that they’d fuck that up?

It would appear the guy was trying to line up to the Corolla next to it, forgetting a Camry and Corolla aren’t the same size.

The amount of ridiculous parking spots I have crammed my Miata into are great. It’s always fun to just see a spot that nobody wants and then back my car in there no problem. And still be able to open my doors and not have to climb out the top or something stupid. I have also managed to get out of a garage that had a big Mercedes blocking nearly the entire door. I had to fold my mirrors and scrape the fender on the wall a little bit but I just squeezed through. That was the best.

Being a 2-seater owner might be easier than ever. Everyone in the world has an SUV with more seats and space than they need. If you need seats, there’s always someone’s car available.
I’ve had a bunch of 2+2 300ZXs. The back seats don’t get used. Anytime you have 2 passengers, one of them has a bigger car you can take.
The true winners of the SUV generation are the 2-seater owners

You forgot the obvious though: “Nah, I can’t be the carpool driver. No seats.”

I was sort of getting at that. Sort of
If you need seats, there’s always someone’s car available
Any time you need more seats, you take someone else’s car. Family outings, car pooling, kid duties, ALL OF IT
The sports car is kept at home. It’s kept pure. Low-kms. It only ever sees the good times. The appliances the rest of the world drives take those bullets. And they get thrown away.
